Eastern senior Sean Coats was held back in second grade. The sting of seeing his classmates move on and him being placed with an entirely new group of students set him on a bad course. He said he was shy and never really made many new friends in the new grade.

A look back at SOAR! Chili Cook-off PDF Print E-mail
One word- “Wow!” That would sum up our 5th SOAR! Chili Cook-off, which was held on March 14th.  We had an exceptional turnout and we are very elated at the amount of funds raised- $4,300.00- to help us in promoting adult and family literacy in Washington County.
