Washington County Superior Court Judge Frank Newkirk issued a verdict in the bench trial of Stephanie L. Atkins, of Salem on Sept. 12.

Atkins was found guilty of forgery, a Class C Felony and a theft, a Class D Felony.

A string of burglaries dating back for more than two years has been solved and the case closed.
Kelly Stillwell was sentenced lon Sept. 7, 2011 to 33 years with zero suspened after pleading guilty to five counts of burglary.
“We got him on multiple counts and were able to put together the evidence that led to a string of burglaries,” said Washington County Prosecutor Dustin Houchin.
