INDOT Seymour District Crews Ready for Winter Forecast PDF Print E-mail

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Seymour District is making preparations for the winter weather forecast.  INDOT crews are currently applying salt brine on interstates and state highways to minimize precipitation impacts.  Crews will monitor weather conditions throughout the day for expected snow and falling temperatures.  Salt trucks are ready and waiting to treat roadways when needed.  INDOT’s top priority is snow and ice removal, focusing on the safety of the motoring public.

The Salem High School boys’ basketball team was clicking on all cylinders Friday night in a 79-54 win over visiting Orleans.
The Lions shot 65.1 percent from the floor and out-rebounded the Bulldogs 31-16.
