Lions give Brownstown all they can handle, fall short PDF Print E-mail


The Salem Lions had Brownstown on the ropes in the final minutes of the two teams March 5 showdown in the Class 3A Sectional 30 championship game, but was never able to deliver the knock-out punch.
Brownstown outscored the Lions 8-0 over the final 2:29 and won the game 54-49.

President declares disaster for Indiana, what folks need to know for assistance PDF Print E-mail

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that federal disaster aid has been made available to the State of Indiana to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes during the period of February 29 to March 3, 2012.
The President’s action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in the counties of Clark, Jefferson, Ripley, Scott, Warrick, and Washington.
