The Pirate wrestling team continued its dominance of the Mid Southern Conference last Saturday, December 11, when they toppled Salem 84?0, Eastern 75?9, Corydon 66?18 and Scottsburg 59?21 to claim the MSC Duals title for the 7th straight season.

The members of the Jonathan Jennings Student Council learned how valuable a penny can be.  During the week of November 1 through 5, the Student Council under the leadership of sponsor, Ashley Padgett, empowered their student body to raise $2,786 by having children bring in their loose change. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s( LLS )Pennies for Patients program, one of LLS’s national School & YouthSM raises money to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma while providing information and support services to patients and their families.

Lady Pirates fall to Scottsburg 72-33 in MSC match up PDF Print E-mail

Coming off an extremely disappointing first loss of the season, the Scottsburg Warriorettes looked for vindication against conference opponent, the Charlestown Lady Pirates.
For the first time all year, the Warriorettes dressed more than eight players for varsity due to the foul trouble in the previous game. After starting the game sluggishly, the Warriorettes picked it up en route to a blowout win, 72-33, for their fifth victory on the year.
