The Charlestown High School football camp will be held July 26- 29 at Charlestown Middle School. The camp will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for first through fourth graders and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for fifth through eighth graders.

Flag Day, Monday June 14, at 7 p.m. the Wilbur M Ruby American Legion Post 204 Color Guard will be having a Retirement & Disposal Ceremony for Old American Flags.  The public is welcome to watch the Ceremony at the Post located at 412 N. New Albany Street in Sellersburg.

The Thursday, June 3, monthly meeting will be a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. at the Arts and Enrichment Center located 999 Water Street in Charlestown.

 

This is a semi-annual evening meeting for those seniors who may still be in the work force.

Founder’s Day Street Dance to be held Saturday PDF Print E-mail

The Charlestown Beautification Committee will hosts it 3rd annual Founder's Day Street Dance.

Join the fun on Saturday June 5 in Greenway Park and dance to tunes from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Chuck Ledbetter Sr., the "Classic DJ" and "Music Mixer" John Wall will begin playing tunes at 8:30 until 11 p.m.

Parks concessions will open at 8 p.m. selling cheeseburgers, chili dogs and pork chop sandwiches. Bring your lawn chairs and join them for a night of dancing under the stars. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
