Charlestown High School Athletic Director Chad Gilbert was recently elected to the IHSAA Board of Directors Southern District Urban Seat.  As part of the Executive Committee, Gilbert will take the place of Paul Neidig who was selected to become an Assistant Commissioner of the IHSAA earlier this year.

Tuesday night, December 12, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Trooper Morgenn Evans from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg made a traffic stop for a traffic infraction near the intersection of Park and Jefferson Streets in Jeffersonville.

Charlestown High School (CHS) has a new Bowling Team this year with Wesley Wiles as coach and Corey Ingram as assistant Coach. Wiles says that last year he was approached by a then junior Madison Keith asking him about forming a bowling club.

Fight over alleged theft lands two in jail after car chase, crash and drugs located PDF Print E-mail

Clark County 911 Dispatch received numerous calls about two vehicles traveling over 100 miles per hour on Interstate 65 approaching the nine mile marker on December 8 at approximately 11:09 a.m.  The callers stated it appeared that one vehicle was chasing the other vehicle. One of the vehicles, a 2013 Chrysler attempted to exit and crashed at exit nine, Sellersburg.
