The planning committee for Sellersburg Celebrates invites the public to the Silver Creek Township Park for the 2016 festival! The festival which happens the third week in August each year will take place on August 25-27. It’s an amazing time to meet your neighbors, enjoy live music and good food, and walk through the craft booths.
A few years ago the local color guard gave their service to a fallen friend. The final resting place was the Otisco Cemetery where one member of the color guard noticed a piece for a memorial service was missing. There was no flag or flag pole.
On September 9, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office received information of two subjects that were allegedly wanted for escaping from Waukesha County Wisconsin were attempting to elude law enforcement at a residence in Memphis.
Derby Dinner Playhouse chosen as 2016 ‘Best of the Best Travel Suppliers 2016’
American Bus Association’s Destinations (hyperlink) magazine has chosen Derby Dinner Playhouse as one of its “Best of the Best Travel Suppliers in 2016.” The magazine’s editorial panel selected the Clarksville company from suppliers across the country.
Light Up Charlestown is set for Friday, November 25 at 6 p.m. in Greenway Park. This year there will be a new program with the lights coming on at 6:30 p.m. The exciting Countdown to Light Up will feature special guest, star of the popular A&E reality show, “60 Days In”, Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel.
