Refuge Church announced recently that they will serve as one of more than 350 churches around the world that will host Night to Shine sponsored, by the Tim Tebow Foundation simultaneously on Friday, February 10. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. This worldwide movement is already set to take place next year in all 50 states and 10 countries around the world…and the numbers continue to grow!

The Clark County annual vegetable gardening class series dubbed “The After Dinner Garden Conversation” is here again! Starting in February they will have a series of eight classes, one class per month on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a fee of $20 for all eight classes. Participants will get a 3-ring binder with all eight presentations and enjoy light snacks at every presentation.
Clark County Sheriff announces new community forum
Recently, Clark County Sheriff Jamey J. Noel, announced that his agency would be hosting a new community forum on opiate addition. The forum will educate members of the community on heroin and opiate usage, needle exchange and treatment programs, NARCAN and the Sheriff’s anonymous tip line.
