Charlestown High School (CHS) held their annual Big Blue Madness game on Friday, November 10. It showcased the Charlestown Middle School 7th and 8th  grade teams, and the CHS Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams.

Voters in the West Clark Community School District went to the polls for a special election on Tuesday, November 7. The special election was held to determine a $95 million referendum that would be used to complete projects throughout the eight buildings of the school district on the Silver Creek, Borden and Henryville campuses.

Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. is opening at St. John Paul II Catholic School (105 St. Paul Street, Sellersburg) on Friday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m. The 60-minute musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the 1994 Broadway production and Disney’s 1991 animated feature film.

Silver Creek Cheerleaders bring home title

The Silver Creek High School Cheerleaders have something to cheer about! The squad competed in the State Competition at New Castle High School on Saturday, November 4. Silver Creek are the State Champs in the Varsity C division. They competed at their preliminary qualifier on October 28 at Greenfield High School before advancing to the state competition.
