We hear it all around us, “the substance abuse problems are epidemic in our county, and no one is doing anything about it!” There is a group doing a great deal with members who are on the front lines actively addressing and helping those who struggle with alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse and addiction. CEASe of Scott County (the Coalition to Eliminate the Abuse of Substances) has 50+ members strong who are doing what they can to reduce the incidence and prevalence of substance abuse and addictions among youth and adults in Scott County.
