The trial for Charlotte Gail Killey, the Scottsburg woman charged with animal neglect, has been scheduled for April 26 in Scott Superior Court.
The charge was filed in Scott Superior Court on March 3 against Killey who, though she apparently knew her dog had been injured when struck by a car, did not seek care for it.

Scottsburg senior Darion Hutchinson was selected from more than 1,600 players to the 30th  annual Girls Top 60 Workout. The IHSAA and IBCA in conjunction with Hoosier Basketball Magazine hosted the event on Sunday March 13, 2011 on the campus of Marian University in Indianapolis.

A Deputy couple and an Austin woman were arrested and charged in connection with what the Indiana State Police (ISP) are identifying as an active methamphetamine (meth) lab in the couple’s home on East Peacock Road.

Increased charges filed against suspect in local parking lot incident PDF Print E-mail

A Scottsburg man has been ordered to appear in Scott Circuit Court on March 15 to answer to new, increased charges filed against him in connection with an incident on February 4.
Scottsburg Patrolmen Trevis Burr and Travis Rutherford were dispatched to the parking lot of a local motel that evening to learn about a fight that had occurred.

Warriors fall to Greensburg in championship game of sectional PDF Print E-mail

It was a season to forget for the Scottsburg Warriors as they managed only three wins in Coach Anthony Winchester’s first year as head coach.  Luckily, the Warriors had the perfect opportunity to do just that as they began the Sectional tournament with a clean slate.  After drawing the bye, thus being moved automatically to the second round, the Warriors found themselves playing the Greensburg Pirates, with hopes of making it to the championship game.
