Warrants have been issued in Scott Superior Court for the arrest of the father and mother of a two-year-old child reportedly left in an unlocked car while the couple shopped in Scottsburg recently. A store employee happened to see the sleeping youngster in the back seat of the couple’s vehicle on April 13 outside the Dollar General Store on U.S. Highway 31 North in Scottsburg. Scottsburg Patrolman Trevis Burr arrived within a few minutes of the dispatch just before 5:30 p.m. and found the child asleep and unharmed in her car seat.
