Deadly storms that crushed communities result of line of severe thunderstorms
The March 2 tornadoes that struck in a five-state area and killed at least 39 people were formed when a band of severe thunderstorms collected in the western part of Washington County and raced their way into Southern Indiana and Kentucky. Area meteorologists were doing their best to keep folks posted about the advancing line of storms, knowing that, at any moment, a shift could occur and a tornado could be spawned.
INDOT developing plans to replace two bridges on State Road 3
A legal notice submitted to these Green Banner Publications newspapers by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced plans are being developed to replace two bridges south of State Road 56 East on State Road 3.
