Floyd Central finished their regular season home schedule Friday night without a defeat in 2011, with a thrilling 35-28 Hoosier Hills Conference victory over the visiting Jennings County Panthers.
Floyd Central must close out the regular season Friday on the road at arch rival New Albany.

FC wins 28th straight sectional PDF Print E-mail

Floyd Central kept their streak alive in their own boys’ tennis sectional, winning by a 4-1 score. The lone point given up by the Highlanders was when at No. 2 singles, the Lions’ Andy Nice def. Floyd’s Keegan Johnston by a score of 6-2, 6-0.
The Highlanders have now won 28 consecutive IHSAA boys’ tennis sectionals.
