Things spin out of control for FC in loss to Lady Toppers PDF Print E-mail

The first semi-final at last Friday’s Floyd Central Shootout featuring the host Lady Highlanders and Louisville Presentation was a game of runs.
Presentation started strong, but gave way to FC in the middle portion of the game before rallying late to take the 64-61 win.
The Lady Toppers led 23-17 at the end of the first quarter, but FC went on a 19-2 run to take control of the game.
Riley Kaiser sparked the run with a three to start the second quarter.

Four players score in double figures as FC throttles Crawford PDF Print E-mail

The Floyd Central Lady Highlanders looked like a well-oiled machine in their quarterfinal matchup last Thursday in the FC Shootout.
Crawford County kept the score close for eight minutes, trailing 14-11, but Floyd cranked up the defensive pressure and put the dial on cruise control in an 86-35 win.
