?The following special events will be held at this year’s Clark County 4-H Fair. Truck/Tractor Pull Clark County 4-H will be sponsoring a Truck/Tractor Pull during 4-H week on Saturday, July 12, starting at 7 p.m., at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds, located at 9608 Highway 62 in Charlestown. Scales open at 4 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 7 to 12 years old, and children 6 and under are free. All pit passes are $15. Classes are: • 10000# Hot Farm (MAPA Rules) • 9300# Super Farm (MAPA Rules) • 10000# Pro Stock (MAPA Rules)- ($5,000 purse) • 8000# Street Legal 4WD Pickups All classes are $25 per hook. Mud Drag Again this year at the Clark County 4-H Fair a Mud Drag will be held on Friday, July 18 at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds. Gates open at 4 p.m. and the competition starts at 7 p.m. This is a 75 percent payback event for the top three with trophies in each class. Entry fees are $25 per/each class and includes the drivers admission. General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 7 to 12 years old, and children 6 and under are free. All pit passes are $15. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Demolition Derby This year at the 2008 Clark County 4-H Fair the Demolition Derby will be held on Saturday, July 19 at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds. Gates open at 3 p.m. and the event starts at 8 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 7 to 12 years of age and children 6 and under are free. All pit passes are $15. All proceeds will benefit the Clark County 4-H program. |
