The Borden youth league is starting their third year as Borden youth football .
They have five divisions: flag- ages 6 and 7, peewee- ages 8 and 9, juniors- ages 10 and 11 and seniors ages 12 and 13 and cheerleaders.
Now they are looking to add a high school youth league program . This program has nothing to do with Borden High School or the West Clark School Board. They are asking the kids from Borden grades 9?12 ages 14?18 who want to play football to call Borden youth league president Rick Cannon at 502?523?2665 before Sunday, May 10.
Any high school kids interested in playing football this season will need to pay a $200 fee to play. The fee includes insurance and your own jersey with your name on the back plus referee fees and some of the cost of the all new equipment. The league needs at least 25 kids to play.
All kids will get equal playing time.
Also the league is taking applications for all football coaching positions and are preparing to start all league division sign ups. Kids who want to play but can not afford to play can get someone or a company to sponsor them. The league has those forms available. All kids this year will  participate in the  Borden Youth League Braves With Drug Free Smoke Signals prevention and education program .
They are also looking for league sponsors. If you are interested you may also can call league president Rick Cannon at 502?523?2665.
