The Lanesville Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) held their annual Spring Festival at the school Friday afternoon, and there were plenty of activities for people of any age.
A dinner of either chicken pot pie or barbecue was served in the school cafeteria, and coffee was served in the cafeteria as well, with people reading poetry or singing songs like in a coffee house.
There were dozens of baskets up for auction lining the main hallway, with each basket following a certain theme, or being pointed towards a certain age level.
Brian Beckort of Beckort auctions auctioned the baskets off promptly at 6 p.m. in the commons.
In the gymnasium, there were plenty of things to do, like sliding down an inflatable slide, or getting your face painted. You could shoot a basketball at a basket if you wished, or tumble around inside another inflatable attraction if desired.
Kellum imprints of Ramsey sold Lanesville School apparel in the main hallway, and the French Club also had a table of goodies for sale.
