    The Lanesville and North Harrison girls’ basketball programs recently had their respective awards banquets, and the following is the winners of the individual awards.
    Lanesville-The varsity team awards were: Leanne Myers, Most Improved Player; Kayla Smith, 3 Point Percentage Award; Ashley Schoen, 2 Point Percentage Award; Faith Johnston, Sportsmanship Award.
    Erin Dorgay won three individual awards: the Free Throw Percentage Award, the Assist Award, and the Steals Award.
    North Harrison- For the varsity, the awards were: Defense Award, Sasha Grangier; Steals Award, Kacey Cox; Free Throw Percentage Award, Caitlyn Janes; Rebounding Award, Sasha Grangier; Most Improved Player, Katie Watts; 2 Point Percentage Award, Madison Snodgrass; Assist Award, Wynn Shroyer; Phil Pace Mental Attitude Award, Deidre Book; 110 Percent Award, Kacey Cox and Wynn Shroyer.
    Senior Kayla Lambert was given a basketball commemorating her entering the 1,000 career point club at North Harrison in girls’ basketball. She is 9th all time on the girls’ list with 1,032 career points.
    The 8th grade awards for North Harrison were: Most Improved Player, Alyssa Price; Free Throw Percentage Award, Megan Naegele; 110 Percent Award, Kasey Kelley; Mental Attitude Award, Jessica Richards and Ashley Jones; 3 Point Percentage Award, Alexandra Gott; 2 Point Percentage Award, Megan Naegele.
