Lanesville baseball team gives back PDF Print E-mail

Not many teams in the area have been as successful on the field as the Lanesville High School baseball team in recent seasons.

That success has garnered a lot of support from the community.

On Saturday, July 29, the Eagles gave back as they helped the Metro United Way by taking part in a work project at Rainbows End Childcare Facility in Corydon.

Members of the team and coaches helped with clean up and landscapping.

The team’s coach said on their social media page, “We’ve gotten a lot of support from our community the last two years, so today we gave back! Had a great time volunteering for the United Way.”

Above those who took part in the project posed for a group photot.
