In the early morning hours of March 2 Charlestown City Police Department made two arrests after executing a search warrant on Dodge Boulevard in Charlestown.
Charlestown’s drug enforcement officer had been investigating the occupants of the residence after receiving several tips that narcotics were being sold there.
Charlestown City Police Officers Sgt. Richard Wagner and Officer Joe Jones were assisted by Indiana State Police Trooper Robert Caudill as they executed a search warrant which revealed an undisclosed amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and several prescription pills they were looking for.
Officers also discovered that there were three young children and one infant inside the home as well.
CPD Officers arrested 28 year old Efrain Martinez and 35 year old Jesse Aguilar Jr. and charged both with several felony drug dealing related charges.
Both Martinez and Aguilar were later booked into the Michael L. Becher Correctional Facility.  Officers also called on the Clark County Child Protection Services to assist.
