?    A former doctor in Washington County, Mark Manship and Schneck Medical Center in Seymour will be opening Convenient Care in the Spring of 2009.
Seven years ago Manship and Associates and Schneck opened the North Vernon Convenient Care and five years ago opened Convenient Care in Scottsburg.
“Both of these offices have been real successful so we decided to open one here in Salem.” stated Manship.
“We need quality care to this area. Medicine is always changing. We are getting away from doctors who do everything, now patients are taken care of by specialists. So we are going to try to be as convenient to everyone. When you need to be seen, we will be there.” said Manship.
Convenient Care will open in March and will be staffed by Manship and Associates along with Dr. Manship, other physicians will be available.
One of the convenience of this facility will be the hours of operation, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Convenient Care will be able to perform laboratory tests with pick up twice daily and delivered to Schneck and also x-rays will be performed.
Convenient Care will be just like your doctors office, we will treat the flu, sprains, strains and any other medical problem one might have.”stated Stephanie Furlow, Director of Marketing and Public Relations with Schneck Medical Center.
“I hope this is well accepted and I look forward to opening in Spring,” stated Manship.
