|?Prevent Child Abuse Council to host Body Safety programs in schools|

? The Scott County Prevent Child Abuse Council will host “Body Safety” program presentations in January for students in kindergarten through twelfth grades in Scott School Districts 1 and 2.
The series of programs will be presented by Terry Hall, a 30-year veteran of the Indianapolis Police Department who has worked the administrative, operations and investigative areas of law enforcement during his career.
The schedule for programs include:
•Tuesday, January 13, Scottsburg High School at 8:15 a.m.
•Tuesday, January 13, Scottsburg Middle School at 9:45 a.m.
•Tuesday, January 13, Vienna-Finley Elementary School: Kindergarten and first grade at 1 p.m.; fourth and fifth grades at 1:15 p.m.; and second and third grades at 2:05 p.m.
•Wednesday, January 14, at Scottsburg Elementary School: Kindergarten and first grade at 8:30 a.m.; fourth and fifth grades at 9:15 a.m.; and second and third grades at 10 a.m.
•Wednesday, January 14, at Lexington Elementary School: Kindergarten and fist grade at 1 p.m.; fourth and fifth grades at 1:15 p.m.; and second and third grades at 2:05 p.m.
•Thursday, January 15, at Johnson Elementary School: Kindergarten and first grade at 8:30 a.m.; fourth and fifth grades at 9:15 a.m.; and second and third grades, 10 a.m.
•Tuesday, January 20, Austin Elementary School: second and third grades at 9 a.m.; kindergarten and first grade, 9:30 a.m.; preschool morning at 10:45 a.m.; preschool afternoon at 12:30 p.m.; and fourth and fifth grades at 1:45 p.m.
•Wednesday, January 21, Austin High School at 9 a.m. and Austin Middle School at 10 a.m., both in the school auditorium.
Sgt. Hall spent seven years in the IPD Sex Offense Branch and was the former director of the “Good Touch- Bad Touch Program” for prevention of child abuse and neglect. Sgt. Hall has attended training at the FBI Academy and is a certified instructor for Indiana. He was named IPD Officer of the Year and was chosen IPD Investigative Officer of the Year for having the highest conviction rate for five consecutive years.
Sgt. Hall also spent several years in the Intelligence Unit doing dignitary protection for the President, Vice President and other dignitaries visiting Indianapolis while working with the Secret Service.
In the last 20 years, he has trained over 10,000 prosecutors, judges and law enforcement officers at local, state and federal levels. He has been involved with training for universities, law enforcement academies, national judicial conferences and department in-service training and was chosen to instruct Department of Human Services employees.
Sgt. Hall has appeared as an expert analyst on many television talk shows, and his work has been chronicled in many law enforcement related magazines. His course has been certified by Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board and the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council.
