?    A Hanover man was killed in a one vehicle accident early Friday morning in New Washington. The accident occurred approximately at midnight.
    The Clark County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene a little after 8 a.m. on Friday morning, November 14. Harold Goodlett was the investigating officer. Two drivers traveling by the accident scene located the vehicle and called the Sheriff’s Office. Officers arrived on the accident scene at 8:30 a.m.
    According to the police report, Ian W. Norris, 21, of Hanover, was traveling on South Carroll Road, about 2,000 feet south of State Road 62 when he failed to negotiate a left hand turn. The vehicle he was driving then left the roadway and hit a tree before coming to a stop in a field. There was no sign of braking prior to the vehicle leaving the roadway. The estimated total damage from the crash is $2,501 to $5,000.
    Norris, who was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report, was pronounced dead at the scene of massive injuries. He had left his residence around 8 p.m. on November 13.
    The Sheriff’s Office administered an blood alcohol and drug test. The test results are pending.
    The investigation is continuing.
