Law enforcement officers have in custody the man they say robbed three different locations in less than a week.
According to Washington County Sheriff's Department Captain Roger Newlon, Jason Pixely was charged late Thursday night with armed robbery of Morgan's Market and J & R Liquors.
Newlon alleges that Pixley, 38, of Pekin, also robbed the Subway in Borden and will face charges in that county, as well.
Pixley had served time in prison for armed robbery.
"We wanted to get him off the streets," Newlon said. "Our fear was someone was going to get hurt."
