Clark County detectives are investigating a robbery that took place at Subway in Borden Sunday night.
The robbery was reported at 9:21 p.m.
According to Detective Proctor with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department the suspect did have a knife, but he did not want to divulge any additional information, because the crime is still being investigated.
Proctor said he is working with Pekin Town Marshall Jeff Thomas because there are similarities between the Subway robbery (see above story) and the robbery last Thursday of the J & R Liquorr Store in Pekin.
Proctor said anyone with information, or who might have seen suspicious activity is encouraged to call the Clark County tip line at 812-280-2276.
For more information on the Pekin robbery see the story at the top of this page.
