Are you already interested in sending children back to school?
How about sending them back with a new backpack filled with supplies?
The Pack the Bus Collaboration is in need of sponsors.Hope Southern Indiana is once again coordinating the Pack the Bus Collaboration. Now in its 5th year, this collaboration works together to provide new backpacks and basic school supplies for NAFC School students in Grades K-8 who are eligible for the Federal Free Breakfast and Lunch Program.
3,000 filled backpacks are needed for the upcoming school year. All contributions come from churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals who donate filled backpacks, school supplies and/or money for this project. Interested in helping? Here are a few ideas:
Enlist your church, business, organization, group or family to sponsor a collection; Donate filled backpacks, and/or supplies or Contribute monetarily
Backpack & supply donations will be accepted at all our collection sites through Friday, July 11. Monetary donations can be made by mail or personal delivery to Hope Southern Indiana, Brown Starks Neighborhood Place, 1200 Bono Road, New Albany, IN 47150. Please indicate that it is for Pack the Bus.

The backpacks will be delivered to the schools between Friday, July 18 and Thursday, July 24. Classes at NAFC Schools begin July 31. Contact your individual school for how they will distribute them to the students.
