Some Lanesville fans admitted to thinking about sticking around Loogootee for several more hours as the Eagles built a 16-point lead late in the first half of the regional semi-final.
Unfortunatley for the Eagles (15-9) so were fans of Northeast Dubois.
The Jeeps had trimmed the deficit to single digits, 44-36 by the end of the third quarter and contineu to climb back in the contest over the final eight minutes.
A 19-9 fourth quarter run, sealed the 55-53 win for Northeast Dubois, who eventually fell in the regional championship to Barr-Reeve.
Lamesville was paced by senior Jason Harmon with 12 points.
He was the only Eagle in double figures.
