Charlestown High School Theater is proud to bring the Emmy award winning 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon show to stage. Schoolhouse Rock Live! will be performed on Friday, March 14, Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16. The stage version of this classic will bring back memories of past while making new ones with younger generations.

Audiences will be invited to wake up with Tori, who is preparing to start her first day of teaching. She tries to relax by watching TV and is joined by an ensemble that helps give her confidence through songs such as “Conjunction Junction,” “I’m Just A Bill,” and “The Great American Melting Pot.”

The show has a cast and crew of approximately 25 K-12 students from Jonathan Jennings, Pleasant Ridge, Charlestown Middle, and Charlestown High Schools. Directed by Dawn Jenkins, the cast is lead by three seniors who will take their final bow on the Charlestown High School stage. Technical director Crit Fisher is sure to give the audience a great show with lights and set design.

Charlestown High School Theater invites you to rock with them for an evening you will not want to miss. Performances will take place on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 16 at 2:30 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. Tickets are $5 for students, $6 for senior citizens and $8 for adults. All seating is reserved seating, so call today to reserve your seats.
