Search at Austin residence leads to arrests |

Tuesday, January 14 at approximately 11:30 p.m., troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg with the assistance of the Austin Police Department conducted a search at a residence located at 525 North Street in Austin. Officers had received anonymous tips of alleged drug activity at the residence. During a search of the home multiple hypodermic needles were located along with other drug paraphernalia. The resident of the home, Jennifer L. Fox, 34, and a visitor Jeremy W. Rice, 32, of Wilbur Avenue in Austin were arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail.
Jennifer Fox was charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Jeremy Rice was charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.
