IILA M. COOK, 89, Salem, died Wednesday, January 8 at Meadow View Health Care and Rehab.
She was born November 1, 1924 in Indiana the daughter of Ernest and Katherine Smith.
She is survived by her son, John Wilson of Louisville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers: Marvin, Jake and Everett Smith and her parents.
There will be no visitation or services.


CHARLES B. PACE, 71, of Henryville, died Tuesday morning, January 14, 2014 at Clark Memorial hospital in Jeffersonville.
Born May 6, 1942 in Harlan County, Kentucky, he was the son of Harmon and Mary Susan (Lee) Pace who are both deceased. He was a Labor Union worker in construction. He was a mountain man, loved the outdoors and was proud he served in the United States Army.
Survivors include, 3 children, Bobby Pace of Clarksville, Troy Pace of Louisville, & Mark Huckleberry of Henryville, 5 grandchildren, Alexander Pace, Jeremy Pace, Sarah Pace, Hanna Huckleberry, & Teanna Huckleberry, three siblings, James Pace of Pekin, Marlena Sonner of Charlestown, & Linda (Charles) Barger of Ohio, brother in law, Ed Basham of Henryville.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Pace & Nancy Basham, and 1 brother, Leroy Pace.
Pastor Paul Long will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with burial of cremains at Mt Zion Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home and Crematory in Henryville.

LOIS JEAN DAILY DISMORE, died early Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida.
She was born in Washinghton County, Indiana. Through the years she resided in Henryville, Scottsburg, Leadore, Idaho and Haines City, Flordia. She settled in Henryville around 1969 then moved to Haines City, Florida in 1999, where she lived until her death.
She is survived by her husband, John Laurel Dismore of Haines City, Flordia, who she married July 5, 1956 at Zoah Christian Church in Scottsburg; one sister, Ruth Gearldine (Burl) Hathaway of Henryville; four children, Kathy (Jesse) Hughes of Henryville, Tim (Cindy) Dismore of Filer, Idaho and Carol (Bere) Clark of Henryville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Arthur Daily and Ruby Hazel Casey Daily; one brother: Raymond Harold Daily. Three sisters: Thelma Lucille Griffin, Pearl Marie Poe McWiliams and Mary Bernice Paitsel and several nieces and nephews.


JAMES DOUGLAS GIBBONS, of Marysville, died Thursday, January 9, 2014.
He was born on November 14, 1983 to Raymond Douglas and Cathy Ballard Gibbons in Charlestown, IN. He was an Army Veteran and an employee of Nibco.  He was preceded in death by his mother Cathy.
Survivors include his father Raymond D. Gibbons of Otisco, IN, step-father Marty Kiper of Marysville, IN, and his sister Katrina Dieth of Jeffersonville, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 16, 2014 at 1PM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow in Beswick Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00AM until the time of the service.

BRUCE CALVIN RAISLEY, 51, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014.
He was born on April 27, 1962 to Robert and Faith (Nelson) Raisley in New Haven, CT. He was an Army Veteran and a computer programmer.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Raisley.
Survivors include his mother, Faith Raisley of Clarksville, son, Stephen Raisley of Ill.; brothers, Wayne Raisley of Charlestown, and William Raisley of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Becky Green of Marengo and Roberta Dooley of Otisco.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11 am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Mt. Grove Cemetery.

INEZ REED ISAAC,79, a resident of Westminster Village in Clarksville, IN passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
She was born on August 10, 1934 in Greasy Creek, KY to James and Della Howard Reed. She was a retired employee of I.C.I. of Americas where she worked in the bag room. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Isaac.
Survivors include her daughters; Sharon Isaac of Austin, TX and Maggie Helton of New Albany, IN, sons; Walter Isaacs of Charlestown, IN, Willie Isaac of New Washington, IN and Hank Isaac of Otisco, IN, grandchildren; Michael and Daniel Helton, Austin Isaac and Ginny Isaacs, great grandchildren; Jake and Zack Helton and Munachiso Benjamin Helton.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday January 19, 2014 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in New Market Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 pm to 8 pm on Saturday and after 10 am on Sunday.

GLEN DANNY KELLY59 of Clarksville, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Westminster Health Care.
He was born April 2, 1954 in Louisville, KY the son of Glen and Mary Barnett Kelly.
Survivors include his father, Glen D. Kelly of Shelbyville, KY; sister, Peggy McMillen(Randy) of Shelbyville, KY; brothers, David Kelly and Donald Kelly(Becky) both of Charlestown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Kelly.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.

LINDA KAY CLARK64, Salem, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Jewish Hospital.
She married J. Michael Clark Sr. on Feb. 2, 1996. He passed away Jan. 14, 2008.
She was a retired teacher at the Bradie Shrum Upper Elementary School; attended the Southern Hills Church and the First Christian Church of Salem; and had been a life resident of Washington County. She was a member of the National & Indiana Retired Teachers Associations and actively participated in the Laundry Love program through the Princess Prayer Warriors' bible study group. She was born May 22, 1949 in Louisville, the daughter of the late John W. and Clara W. (Smedley) Robinson.
She is survived by two sons, Ryan L. Wisecarver, Salem and Seth R. Wisecarver, Louisville; brother, J.K. Robinson, New Albany; and grandson, Rylan Wisecarver.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and her stepmother, Carlie Robinson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, at 4 p.m. at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

NORMAN PAUL STEPRO94 of Seymour, formerly of Salem, died Friday, January 3, 2014 at 4:00 am in his residence.
He was born September 21, 1919 in Mauckport, the son of the late Harrison Jacob and Phebe (Robbins) Stepro. He married Mildred D. (Annabell) Stepro, who passed away April 26, 2000. He was a retired self-employed woodworker, a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Salem and served in WW II in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his sister-in-law/Executrix, Norma Annabell of Seymour and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Cremation was chosen, no services or visitation.

MELINDA M. MOORE36, Salem, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
She was born Aug. 12, 1977 in Salem, the daughter of Lloyd and Tawnea Mae (Snider) Moore. She was a homemaker; a life resident of Washington County; and was a 1995 graduate of Salem High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Keely Davidson, Salem; father, Lloyd Moore, Salem; two brothers, Kenny Moore and Danny Moore, Salem; fiancé, Robert Miller, Salem; stepson, Damien Miller, Salem.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. at Dawalt Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.

ROGER AARON WILLIAMS46, of Charlestown, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
He was born on May 15, 1967 to Earl Lee and Melody Ann (Lowery) Williams in Jeffersonville. He was a construction worker, and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God in Charlestown.
Survivors include his daughters, Tera Jo Williams in Jeffersonville, Desirae Williams of Charlestown; sons, Justin Williams of Charlestown, and Christopher Williams of Sellersburg; parents, Leonard & Melody Williams of Charlestown; brother, Eric Todd Williams of Charlestown; sister, Tammy Lynn Hodges of Charlestown; grandmother, Aileen Williams of Crandall; four Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2 pm at the Grayson Funeral Home, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery.

TOMMY R. BRIDGES77, of Crothersville, died Saturday morning, January 11, 2014 at his winter home in Haines City, Florida.
Born May 5, 1936 in Crothersville, he was the son of the late Harry and Jessy Dee (Nowling) Bridges. He was a 1954 Crothersville High School graduate and retired from the American Can and had owned Tommy’s Bar in Crothersville. He was a proud sponsor of the Crothersville Little League for 30 years.
He is survived by his son, Thomas (Sherry) Bridges of Crothersville, three daughters, Barbara (Marvin) Owens of Alpine, Tennessee, Tammy (Gary) Lighthiser of Columbus, & Cindy (Jimmy) Haddox of North Vernon, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and one sister Ada Belle Riley of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Mildred, Genevieve & Lois and a granddaughter, Amanda Dee Bridges.
The family will celebrate his life with visitation for family and friends at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2014.

VINCENT JOSEPH BELL, JR55, of Charlestown, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014.
He was born on October 26, 1958 to Vincent Joseph and Donna Louise Gaines Bell, Sr in Louisville KY. He was an insurance adjuster, musician, and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife Roscelia Purvis Bell; daughter Katie Bell of Deer Park, TX; sisters: Karen Stargel Mattingly (Kevin) of North Carolina and Lea Ann Short (Rodger) of New Albany; step-son Troy Filburn of Scottsburg; step-daughter Melissa Filburn Spencer of Sellersburg, nieces Taylor and Amber Short of Charlestown Christopher Stephen Stargel of Nashville, TN and one grandchild.

RICHARD BERNARD SMITH83, of Sellersburg, went to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home.
was born on January 17, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Bernard and Florence Smith. Richard served in the United States Marine Corp for nine years including during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley Smith; his children, Cathy Denise(Robert) of Canyon Country, CA, Michael Smith(Esther) of Dallas, TX  Cindy Hudson(Sam) of Lawrenceville, GA and Christy Smith of Sellersburg, IN; grandchildren, Sara and Garrett Denise, Ryan Smith, Mark, Michael and Jonathan Hudson; brothers, James Smith of Sacramento, CA and David Smith of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Smith.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel.

WILLIAM H. NEAL86, New Albany, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 28, 1927 in Hazard, KY the son of Calvin and Marie Neal. He was a member of the Living Waters Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include his daughters, Grace Furnish of Milltown, Bonnie Lathem of Charlestown, Betty Blevins and Pam Werner both of New Albany; sons, Billy Neal of Jeffersonville, Donald Neal and Danny Neal both of Louisville; 30 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence L. Neal, daughter Mary Blevins, grandchild Theresa Blevins and his eleven brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday January 20, 2014 at the Hibernia Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of the arrangements.


RUBY L. MOTSINGER93, Salem, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Salem Crossing.
She was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Salem, the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Meadors) Walker. She married Homer W. Motsinger on Feb. 21, 1940. He died Jan. 6, 1988. She was a former R.N. and head nurse at Jewish Hospital in Louisville and retired from the Behavioral Medical Unit at the old Washington County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Christian Church; a life resident of Washington County. She was also a former member of the Pekin Grange #278 and the D.A.R.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Sara) Motsinger, Pekin; daughter, Marjene (Russell) Bishop, Salem; three grandchildren, Christina (Steven) Brewer, Myra (Eric) Albertson and Deana Moore; five great-grandchildren, Benjamin (Sarah) Brewer, Chelsey Brewer and Adam Brewer, Todd Albertson and Elizabeth Albertson; and one great-great-granddaughter, Elliana Brewer.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rosco Walker and Randall Walker; and one sister, Berniece Day.

HAZEL HOWARD81 of Charlestown, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was born on August 18, 1932 in Busy, KY to Harris and Lena McCoy Couch. She was a retired employee of I.C.I. Americas, and a member of the Memphis Church of Christ. Mrs. Howard was proud to have been President of Charlestown Little League for 14 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harvey Howard, great-grandsons Timothy and Brandon Doelker and Dustin Scott Doelker and son-in-law Darrell Red Adams.
She is survived by her daughter; Geneva Adams of Charlestown; son. James P. Howard of Charlestown; sister, Muriel Feltner of Somerset, KY; brother, James P. Couch of Busy, KY; grandchildren, Cheryl Doelker (Scott) of Tampa, FL, Darrell Adams, Jr. (Jacinta) of Charlestown, Andrew Adams (Tammy) of Charlestown, Tami Renn (Keith) of Clarksville, Keli Kaskie (Mike) of Sellersburg, and Amber Howard of Clarksville; great-grandchildren, Tara Doelker, Shara Doelker, Erica Adams, Ashlyn Adams, Brooke Adams, Harrison Adams, Sophia Adams, Gracie Jo Adams, Logan Voelker, Connor Voelker, Sierra Kaskie, and MaKenzie Kaskie.

ROBERT “BOB” LOWE72, of Crothersville, died on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Born August 22, 1941 in Muncie, he was the son of Adam Lowe and Mary Abbott who are both deceased. On April 27, 1989 he married Carolyn (Pearson) Lowe, who survives in Crothersville.
Other survivors include, two daughters, Nikki (Stephen) Bean of Crothersville, Erica (Josh Walton) Lowe of Liberty, Indiana; two grandchildren, Hunter & Brycen Bean of Crothersville, one sister, Wilma Simmons of Hamilton, Montana.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny, Earl, Willard, & Estel Crabtree; two sisters, Gladys Crabtree and Sara King.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

ROY DALLAS YATES78, of Henryville, died Friday, January 17, 2014.
He was born on June 29, 1935 in Waterloo, Ohio, the son of the late Thurman and Missouri (Delaney) Yates. He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy A. Yates.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby (Justice) Yates; two sons, Andy and Doug Yates of Charlestown, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and other family members.

ALONZO MIDDLETON, SR77, of Charlestown, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at Kindred Transitional Care in Sellersburg.
He was born May 28, 1936 to Walter and Ethel (Wynn) Middleton in Disney, KY. He was a retired maintenance man for the old ICI Americas.
Survivors include his wife, Delores (Griffin) Middleton of Charlestown; sons, Alonzo “Lonnie” Middleton, Jr. (Frances) of Charlestown, and Roger Middleton of Charlestown; daughters, Cindy Jordan (John) of Charlestown, and Ann Carter (Dallas) of Otisco; brothers, Tom Middleton of Otisco, and Billy Ray Middleton of TN; sisters, Doris Sindelar of Charlestown, and Freda LaMaser of Lexington; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1 pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery.

RICHARD NIEHAUS78 of Scottsburg, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence from ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
He was born on May 24, 1935 in Covington, Kentucky, the son of the late Joseph I. and Lillian (Krebs) Niehaus. He completed his High School education at Covington Latin School, Covington, KY and then attended St. Paul Seminary, St. Paul, MN and was ordained on May 28, 1959. In addition to his parish duties, he also taught math in the Covington Latin School. After leaving the Priesthood in 1976, he married Beatrice (Broadus) Niehaus on Mar. 28, 1980. He the worked as educator in the Gallup-McKinleyCounty Public Schools, first serving as a math teacher on the Zuni Indian Reservation, Asst. Principal at the Navajo Junior High located on the Navajo Reservation, and then Asst. Principal at the Gallup Mid School, Gallup, N.M. He and his wife retired from the New Mexico school system and came to southern Indiana to live and were members of the American Martyrs Catholic Church. He loved working with the young families at his assigned churches and the students and teachers at the mid school level. He was involved in many of the social activities provided at their Florida senior park.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; a sister, Vivien Wilcox of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky; two brothers, Ken Niehaus of Long Island, New York and Don Niehaus (Pat) of Farmington, Michigan; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Cushing (Barney) of Corvallis, Montana; three stepsons, Charles Holland (Ernestine) of Derby, Indiana, Dennis Holland (Sue) of Garland, Utah and Robert Holland (Starr) of Sante Fe, New Mexico; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lee Niehaus and a stepson, Jack E. Holland. He chose cremation and private graveside services will be at a later date in Fairmount Cemetery in Madison

RICHARD BERNARD SMITH83, of Sellersburg, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home.
He was born on January 17, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Bernard and Florence Smith. He served in the United States Marine Corp for nine years including during the Korean War. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a bachelor’s degree in Science in economics. He was a salesman for USG Interiors for 37 years.

ROGER AARON WILLIAMS46, of Charlestown, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
He was born on May 15, 1967 to Earl Lee and Melody Ann (Lowery) Williams in Jeffersonville. He was a construction worker, and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God in Charlestown.
Survivors include his daughters, Tera Jo Williams of Jeffersonville, Desirae Williams of Charlestown; sons, Justin Williams of Charlestown, and Christopher Williams of Sellersburg; parents, Earl & Melody Williams of Charlestown; brother, Eric Todd Williams of Charlestown; sister, Tammy Lynn Hodges of Charlestown; grandmother, Aileen Williams of Crandall; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Monday.


RAYMOND DARRYL “CURLY” CROWE69, of Marysville, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 16, 1944 to Raymond and Mabel (Tate) Crowe in Louisville, KY. He was a retired U.S. Coast Guard Veteran of 22 ½ years, a former employee for Ohio Valley Redi-Mix in Jeffersonville, IN, a member of the Old Reel Collector Association, National Lure and Fishing Association, American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown, Chief Petty Officer Association, and a member of the Church of God in Jeffersonville.
He is preceded in death by his father; sisters, Phyllis Sandy Reed, and Yvonne Eldridge.
Survivors include his wife, Carol (Armstrong) Crowe of Marysville; daughters, DaVita Crowe of Marysville, and Angie Higdon and her husband Christian of Sellersburg; mother, Mabel Crowe of Clarksville; sister, Norma Teague of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Devon-Rae, Lauren, Summer, and Courtney; great-grandchild, Layla Jean.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Monday from 2pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Tuesday.

He was born on August 30 1950 in Scottsburg, the son of James W Arbuckle & Mildred Irene Doogs Arbuckle. He was a farmer all his life; previously employed at Jeff Boat, Arbuckle Chevrolet and the Scott County Highway Dept.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Arbuckle, Lexington; daughters: Loretta London, Lexington NC, Stephanie Richey (Buddy), Lexington and Kelly Graham (Tracy), Lexington; grandchildren: Heather Rudolph (Matthew), Lavonna Richey (Michael Hayes), Jonathan Graham (Brittany Lackey), Jesse London, Jeffrey Graham and Hannah London; great-grandchildren: Alexys Rudolph, Jaxon Rudolph, Dakota Bowers and Tucker Graham.

RONNIE NAUGLE74 of Salem, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Nortons Hospital Louisville.
He was born February 5, 1939 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late William O. and Wilma J. (McCleary) Naugle. He was a retired Union Carpenter and life-long farmer and had been a life resident of Washington County.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda (Gary) Willis, Scottsburg; son, William "Woody" (Amy) Naugle, Salem; brother, Danny Naugle, Salem; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Bonita Bryant and two grandsons, Ryan & Travis Dixon.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Cathy Clayton officiating.

He was born April 17, 1948, the son of John Harbold, Sr. and Anneliese Napier Harbold. He retired from Temple & Temple of Salem. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and he served in the Viet Nam era. He was a member of the VFW in Austin IN
He is survived by his wife, Blanche Harbold, Underwood; son, Jeremy Harbold, CA, Tommy Harbold, CA; step-mother, Edna Harbold, Underwood; step-sons, John Treadway (Tammy), Austin; James Treadway (Andrea), Scottsburg; three step-grandchildren; brothers, Roger Harbold, Underwood, Russell Harbold, Underwood, Jim Bob Harbold, Underwood, Jack Harbold, Underwood, Richard Harbold, Underwood; half brothers, Jim Napier, Brownstown, Rick Napier, Crothersville; sisters, Ella Wray, Underwood, Billie Walker, Underwood; half sisters, Debbie Murdock, FL and Linda Williams, OK

ANNIS ROSALIE BAUGH92, Madison, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Hickory Creek of Madison.
She was born on March 18, 1921 in Scott County, the daughter of Hugh and Birdie (Gobin) McCartney.
She resided in Scott County until 1996 when she moved to Hanover. She retired from the former US Shoe Corp. in Madison, where she worked for several years and was of the Baptist faith. She had formerly worked for the Colwell Grocery Store in Blocher, Indiana.
Survivors include one son, William “Bill” Baugh and his wife Shirley of Martinsville; one sister, Shirley McCartney of Terre Haute; her daughter-in-law, Verliss Baugh of Madison and four grandchildren; Angelia Rogers and her husband Glenn of Madison, Becky McKinney and her husband Randy, and Karen Griffin and her husband Todd, all of Martinsville and John Baugh of Kansas City, Missouri; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Baugh in January of 1993 and to whom she was married on Dec. 24, 1934; one son, Robert “Bob” Baugh, Jr. in 2006; and eight sisters and brothers, Edith, Leslie, Jesse, Wilbur, Bessie, Patrick, Gladys and Norma.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Scaffold Lick Baptist Church Cemetery near Blocher.
Friends may call at Lytle Funeral Chapel from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.


GLENDA MAY JACKSON64, Dallas GA, formerly of Underwood & Scottsburg, died January 18 2014, Dallas GA.
She was born December 12 1949, Scottsburg the daughter of Ervin Collins and Marjorie Murphy Collins. She was employed for approximately 30 years as a Medical Tech with WellStar Paulding and a memberof Dallas First Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Fletcher Jackson.
Survivors include her son, David Jackson, Dallas GA, a daughter, Kristen Jackson, Dallas GA; brothers: Gary Collins (Rita), Scottsburg; Andrew Collins (Terri), Scottsburg; Kevin Collins (Jemma), Scottsburg; John Collins (Gayle), Underwood; sisters, Annette Parrish (Bill), Sellersburg, Deena Murphy (Ken) of Greenville SC, Lori O’Brien (Steve), Scottsburg and a special friend, Anna Samimi.
Graveside services with Rev. James Hoppus will be at 3 pm Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Clark’s Chapel Cemetery, Underwood. Burial will follow. Visitation is from noon until 2 pm Wednesday at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home.
