Brody Curtis is the son of Charlestown High School math teacher Heather Curtis. He was born with a very rare, life threatening skin condition called EB (Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa). Brody is missing the protein in his skin that holds it together and the slightest amount of friction against his skin causes it to either blister or fall off.
Brody travels to doctor’s appointments quite frequently to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and at this time there is no cure for EB.
The entire community is invited and encouraged to attend the “CHS Cares -Blessings for Brody” benefit basketball game.
Charlestown High School is located at #1 Pirate Place in Charlestown.
