Floyd Central’s Scarlett Hartlage made her college choice official on Wednesday, November 27 at Floyd Central High School.
The senior has committed to play golf in the 2014 season at Hanover College.
Last season, Hartlage earned a place on the Hoosier Hills All-Conference Team.
Hartlage’s good play helped Floyd Central win the sectional tournament and a third place finish in the Washington Regional.
This finish earned the Highlanders an opportunity to play in the State Championship at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin.
This was the first state appearance since 2007 for the women’s golf team.
The team finished the season placing eleventh in the state.
Hartlage’s father, former Floyd Central Golfer Lenny Hartlage, is the Highlander’s golf coach.
