Georgetown Elementary PTA is hosting its 8th annual “Santa’s Workshop” on Saturday, December 14 from 9am to noon in the gym at the school.

This free, family event will have a wide variety of activities and crafts for the kids to enjoy.  They can make holiday ornaments, decorate an edible Christmas tree, enjoy a friendly snowball fight, make a snow angel or win a special treat in the cake walk, to name a few.  The kids can go into “Santa’s Secret Workshop” to make and wrap gifts for their families.

Santa will be on hand to pose for pictures and listen to the wish lists of all the children.  Pictures with Santa are $5.  Donuts, milk, juice and hot chocolate will be available for a nominal fee.

This fun holiday event could not be possible without the generous support of local businesses:  Come Back Inn Restaurant,  Dance As One,  East End Big O Tire Stores, 84 Lumber Company, Georgetown Lions Club,  Kings Quality Restoration, Loftus and Romeo Development,  Marathon Gas N’ Stuff,  Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bellamey, McAllister Chiropractic, Oliver Insurance Agency, Main Source Bank, Mister Hardware, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Preschool,  and Teachers Credit Union.

Bring the whole family and enjoy the holiday festivities at Santa’s Workshop. The school is located in Georgetown, 8800 High Street.
