? During the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s 50th Annual Dinner, the 2008 Citizen of the Year will be recognized. The dinner will take place on Saturday, October 2, at 6 p.m. at Southern Hills Church.
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is honored and proud to release the names of those nominated for this year’s Citizen of the Year. As you may be aware the award is for the individual who has given of themselves selflessly over and above their primary occupation.
We are all lucky to have these individuals in the community. These individuals have all been named by others for their outstanding and selfless efforts and should all be considered winners of our respect, gratitude, and admiration.
The nominees are: Rose Anderson; Dr. Kalen Carty; Janie Demmy; Dr. Jack Hedrick; Raymond Lee; Marji Morris; Teresa Smedley; Cecil Smith; Robert Strange and Terri Suvak
They invite everyone to witness the awarding to the one person who will be named the 2008 Citizen of the Year.
Tickets are $20 per person and are available at the Chamber office, located inside the Town Hall building and at any National City Bank branch. For more information, contact Laurie Carr, Chamber of Commerce secretary at 883-4303.
