Pekin woman flown to hospital after crash PDF Print E-mail
Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash that occured Sunday afternoon.
April Colglazier was flown by heliocopter ambulance to the University of Louisville Hospital and Jeremiah McCoskey was taken by Knox County EMS to St. Vincent-Salem Hospital.
Neither of the injuries were considered to be life threatening.
According to Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Charlie Lewis a Ford F-250 driven by Johnna Bowers was traveling west on Highway 60 towards Salem.
According to Lewis, Bowers said she saw cargo in her truck falling and decided to pull into J and R Liqours to catch it.
When she did, she didn’t see the Ford Escort, which was being driven at the time by April Colglaizer.
The two vehicles hit head-on.
Scott Schocke, with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department also assisted on the scene.
