TONYA A. FRAKES MCKIM, 44, Corydon, died Tuesday, November 05, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Corydon on August 20, 1969 to John and Shirley Emily Ferriell, who survive.
Other survivors include her husband- Daniel McKim of Corydon; and her sisters- Davetta Albers (Kevin) of Corydon and Tina Fulkerson (Willie) of Lanesville. She was preceded in death by her brother Bryan E. Frakes.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home.


NAOMI “PINKEY” ROBERTS, 83, of Seymour died Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.
She was born in Hayden on March 14th, 1930 to the late Conrad “Cheb” and Mildred “Perry” Sullivan. She was a nearly life-long member of the Hayden United Methodist Church. She worked at the Jennings County Community Hospital, served as a teacher’s assistant at Hayden Elementary School, and co-owned and operated five stores in Jennings and Jackson County. She married Charles G. Roberts Jr.
Survivors include two daughters Vickie (Shane) Wheeler and Marcie (Frank) Kapfhammer, a cousin Shirley Hochstetler, seven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a companion, Thomas Fettig, and her brothers, Robert Sullivan and Barney Sullivan precede her.
Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Sunday, November 10, at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Hayden Cemetery with a Voss Dove release.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Saturday from 3:00-8:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until time of Service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hayden Historical Museum Music Parlor Fund, Hayden United Methodist Church, or Dr. Lawrence Einhorn Lung Cancer Research c/o Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center.


ALISHA M. RIGGS, 27, of Hardinsburg, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
She was born February 19, 1986 in Floyd County to James and Lisa Brown Riggs.  She was an employee of Norton Suburban Medical Plaza. 
She is survived by her parents, her sons:  Wyatt and Connor Marion both of Hardinsburg, her brothers:  Joshua Riggs of Greenville and Shawn Riggs of Hardinsburg, grandmother:  Sharon Riggs of Clarksville and grandfather:  Fred Chandler of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, at 1 pm at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kays Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, from 4 to 8 pm and Friday from 9 am until the time of service.


CASH HOLLAND, 75,  of Austin, died Tuesday,  November 5, 2013  at his residence.
He was born July 17, 1938 in Athol, Ky. to the late Bill  Holland  and Lou  (Coomer) Holland.
Survivors include: Sisters: Charity May, Austin;  Elvira Napier, Austin; and  Wanda Noble, Salem. He was preceded in death by his Brothers: Albert, Sherman, Clifford and Raleigh Holland.
Funeral Service will be at  2:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin. Cremation with disposition at a later date.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 pm Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home.

DONOVAN R. BROWN, 81, of Salem, died Tuesday, November 5 at 10:09PM at Salem Crossing.
He was born May 5, 1932 in Washington County to Harold and Mabel Johnson Brown.  He was a retired truck driver, a Korean War Air Force veteran, and a member of American Legion, VFW and Salem Moose Lodge.
He is survived by three sons:  Greg Brown and Todd Brown, both of Salem, and Sean Brown of St. Petersburg, Fla., a daughter:  Pamela Brown of Salem, a brother: Carl Wayne Brown of Salem, two sisters:  Carol Jane Campbell of Pekin and Ellen Brown of Scottsburg, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife:  Marilyn Elliott Brown, his parents, and two brothers:  Harold Brown Jr. and Irvan Brown.
Private graveside services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery.


LILLIAN AGNES WELLS MURPHY, 96, of Scottsburg, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Scott Villa Living Center.
She was born on May 28, 1917 in Orange County to the late Samuel Emmett and Cora Isabelle Barrett Wells. She was a homemaker, a member of Zoah Christian Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher of the Nursery Sunday School Class for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her sons, Robert S. Murphy of Franklin, Ind., Michael P. Murphy and his wife Annette and Teddy D. Murphy and his wife Melanie, all of Scottsburg;  her daughters, Regina Pastrick and her husband George of Columbus, Sonja Baldridge and her husband Kenneth of Louisville, Nancy Swank and Linda Murphy, both of Scottsburg; her sister, Dorothy Nicholas of Scottsburg; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Murphy; a grandson; a great-grandson; her sisters, Melvina Wells and Lena Bennett; and her brother, Samuel Wells.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Visitation: 3 to 8 pm on Friday, November 8, and 9 am until the time of services on Saturday.  Memorial Contributions: Her Church of Scott Memorial Hospital Guild c/o Collins Funeral Home.

DOUGLAS R. “HANK” SPENCER, 50, of Salem, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at his residence.
He was born October 12, 1963 in Jeffersonville to the late Delbert R. and Lucille Ann Casey Spencer. He was a self employed antique dealer and a member of the Salem Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3516.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn  (Whitaker) Spencer of Salem; a stepson, Nick Whitaker of Deputy; two stepdaughters, Megan Jennings of Scottsburg and Sydney Holsapple of Salem; two sisters, Deborah Warrick of Jeffersonville and Marsha Berna of Lexington; a nephew, Billy Yatalese of Jeffersonville; two nieces, Jessica Grimm and Jennifer Cole, both of Scottsburg; and five step-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Friday, November 8, 2013 at Collins Funeral Home with burial following in Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery  in Lexington.

DORA MAE SOUDER SENN, 96, of Salem, died Wednesday, November 6 at 3:20PM at Salem Crossing.
She was born October 25, 1917 in Polk Township to Eddie and Ella Charles Souder.  She was a retired employee of B.F. Goodrich and a homemaker.  She was a member of Blue River Baptist Church and Farm Bureau.
She is survived by two brothers:  Jerry (Judy) Senn of Brownstown and John (Marcia) Senn of Salem, two daughters:  Shirley (Eugene) Stewart of Pekin and Sandy Saulmon of Salem, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband:  Ralph Senn, two brothers:  Elmo and Homer Souder, a sister:  Edith Kay, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11 am at Blue River Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Blue River Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at Weathers Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of services at the church.


MARLA LEE BUSH, 48, Little York, died Thursday, November 7, 2013.
She was born on September 8, 1965 in Salem to Melvin and Marcia Jackson Bush. She was formerly employed as an LPN at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, and was a member of Little York Christian Church.
Survivors include her parents; her brother: Mark (Leann) Bush of Scottsburg; her niece: Olivia Bush of Scottsburg; her nephew: Brock Bush of Scottsburg; and her grandfather: Lee Jackson of Scottsburg. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother: Aileen Jackson; and her paternal grandparents: Floyd and Mary Bush.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Little York Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday, November 9, and from 11:30 am until the time of services on Saturday.
