HHMS celebrates 10th birthday! PDF Print E-mail
Highland Hills Middle School recently participated the Harvest Homecoming Parade!  HHMS is doing many things this year to help celebrate their 10 years of academic excellence!
The school opened its doors in August of 2004.  They are currently the largest middle school in the state with over 1500 students!  HHMS was awarded a four star school by the state of Indiana for the second straight year.
HHMS created two floats which were awarded third place by the Harvest Homecoming directors!
The first float was designed by Mrs. Emerson (7th grade teacher) and her class.  They created a replica of downtown historic New Albany to commemorate the cities bicentennial!
The second float was designed by students, PTO and parents.  This was a birthday cake to celebrate Highland Hills 10th year!
Many students came out to help celebrate rain and all!
Mr. Steve Griffin, principal, and Mr. Gary Hutton, HHMS’s first principal were the drivers!
