After losing their season-opener against Male, one of the powerhouse schools in Louisville, Floyd Central has won six out of their last seven games, including a 54-30 win over Jennings County last Friday.
The Highlanders are averaging more than 45 points a game heading into Friday’s showdown against county rival, New Albany.
After the grudge-match against the Bulldogs, FC will have a rematch against Jennings County.
The Panthers will make the trip south one more time on Nov. 1 as play begins in the Indiana High School Athletic Association’s annual state tournament.
