Even young folks see people their age struggling in today’s society.

That’s what led to the Salem Church of God organizing a teen revival later this month.

The Nehemiah Project will be Oct. 25-26 at Salem Assembly of God. Doors will open at 6 p.m. both nights.

The event got its name because Nehemiah was living in the kingdom and thought everything was great. He was a cupbearer and everything was going great.

Admission both nights is free, but those attending are encouraged to bring canned goods for the Washington County Food Bank.

All are encouraged to bring a Bible.

While the idea for this event was born at a Church of God and will take place at an Assembly of God church, Livingston said this is a non-denominational event.
