What is quickly becoming a fall tradition is the Pal-Wow festival held annually in Palmyra.
In year’s past, the event was held the same weekend as the Lanesville Heritage Weekend, but organizers of Pal-Wow decided it to move their event.
This year’s event will be Sept. 21 and will get underway at 10 a.m. with events going on all day long, culminating with a firework show that night at 8:30 p.m.
Organizers say a lot of the events from the past two years are the same, only bigger. There will be more food booths, craft booths, games, a larger community choir and a large car show.
The firework show is expected to be bigger and better than last year and the Rumors are returning to play the event again this year.
