?    Hearings on Scott County’s proposed 2009 budget that were to be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 14 and 15, have been postponed.
    Councilmen have until December 1 to conduct such hearings. Those sessions are expected to be held later this month.
    The County Council did meet briefly on Tuesday, October 14, to handle additional appropriations and other matters.
