On Aug. 5, 2013, Brooke Bunch was arrested and charged with one count of a reckless homicide, a Class C felony and possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony.
The charges stem from an accident that occurred on April 8, 2013 on State Road 60 East between Motsinger Road and Sullivan Lane.
The traffic accident involved two motor vehicles.
According to a press release issued by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department Detective Brent Miller, Johnny Ferrill was traveling west and was operating a 2004 Harley Davidson.
The report said Bunch was traveling east and operating a 2004 Jeep Cherokee.
Investigators say that evidence at the scene alleges that the vehicle driven by Bunch crossed the center line of the roadway and struck the motorcycle.
Ferrill was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is on-going.
Bunch was released later that day on Aug. 5 on a $6,500 full cash bond.
