ELDRIDGE “TONY” MILAM, JR., 71, Borden, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem.
He was born in Nashville, Tenn. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a painter.
Survivors include his wife: Kathleen Crabtree Nance Milam; his sons: Tony (Lisa) Milam of Jeffersonville and Charles Paul of Roanoke, Va.; his daughters: Felica (Robert) Douglas of Boston, Ky. and Milissa Murphy of Louisville; his brothers: Hank, Butch and Donald Milam; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Love Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, July 17, and from 9 am until the time of services on Thursday.

DALLAS JAMES WATSON, 52, Salem, formerly of Indianapolis, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 23, 1960 in Rockford, Ill. to the late Ralph Lane and Juanita Jane Simning Watson, who survives. He served in the Armed Forces with the Indiana National Guard and was a former employee of the o0ld Design Industries in Indianapolis.
Other survivors include his sister: Barbara Gould of Salem; and his brothers: Michael Watson of Texas and Ray Watson of Freeport, Ill.
No services will be held, direct cremation was chosen.
Arrangements are being handled by Dawalt Funeral Home.

CAROLYN JEAN KELTNER, 72, Campbellsburg, died Tuesday, July 16 at her home.
She was born January 31, 1941 in Salem to Russell Eugene and Wilma Hopkins Brown.  She was a homemaker and a member of Westview Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband:  Simpson Keltner of Campbellsburg, two sons:  Barry Keltner and Eric Keltner and wife, Jenny all of Campbellsburg, a brother:  Larry Brown of Salem, a sister:  Genetta (Genie) Smith of Salem and two granddaughters:  Maggi and Morgan Keltner both of Campbellsburg.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30AM at Old Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home.

MARILEE BAXTER GARDNER HALEY, 85, Austin  died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her residence.
She was born April 22, 1928 in Ida Grove, Ia. to the late William Hayden Baxter and Gladys Irene (Bossaed) Baxter. She was a Member of the Scottsburg United Methodist Church and was a former Teacher for Scott County School District #1 in Austin.
Survivors include Sons: Mark Gardner, Austin, Indiana; Robert Haley, Manchester, CT.; and  Michael Haley, Manchester, CT.; Daughters: Vicki Bordner, Scottsburg, Indiana; and Diane Haley, Manchester, CT.; Granddaughters: Amy Asdell, Lexington, Indiana; Alana Gardner, Underwood. Grandsons: Seth Gardner, Madison, Indiana;  and  Travis Hardin, Berea, KY; Also  a niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her brother: Hyden Ardell Baxter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin. Burial will follow in Crothersville Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday and from 9 am until the time of services on Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scott County Museum, the Scott County Historical Society or the Austin Alumni Scholarships.

LARRY LEE MIX, 74, Hope, Ind., formerly of Madison, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Our Hospice Inpatient Unit in Columbus.
He was born on July 3, 1939 in Carroll County, Ky. to the late Lawrence Walter and Ethel B. Morgan Mix. He was a retired assembler after 43 years of service with Cummins Engine Company.
Survivors include his wife: Norma Faye Callis Mix of Hope, Indiana; his son: David Mix of Flat Rock, Indiana; his grandsons: John Evan Mix, Steven Alexander Mix and Adam Daniel Mix; 2 sisters: Loretta Alene Kent of Madison, Indiana, Imogene James of North Vernon, Indiana; 2 brothers: Harold Eldon Mix of Seymour, Indiana, Tommy Mix and his wife, Mayme of Canaan, Indiana; his sisters in law and brothers in law: Geraldine Jones of New Washington, Indiana, Linda Hostetler of New Washington, Indiana, Becky Arnette and her husband, Billy of Madison, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother Private John Edward Mix; his infant siblings, James, Sarah, Mona June and Agnes Mix.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pn on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will follow at Carrollton I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrolton.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1 pm until the time of services.
The family requests memorials in memory of Larry to the American Cancer Society or Our Hospice Inpatient Unit.

BERTIE M. ROHE, Salem, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at Salem Crossing.
She was born August 13, 1927 in Campbellsville, Ky. to Leslie Barnes and Nora Ann Pendleton Barnes. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband: Edward Rohe, a son:  Edward Michael Rohe of Salem, a brother:  Kelsey "Bug" Barnes of Campbellsville and two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, six brothers, six sisters and her parents.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial followed in Crown Hill Cemetery.

TERESA LYNN TICHENOR, 49, Jeffersonville, died Wednesday, July 18, 2013 at her home.
She was born on October 5, 1963 in Wise County, Va. to Dewey and Patsy Vaughn Aistrop, Jr. and was a factory worker.
Survivors include her sons Stanley E. Comer of New Albany and Martin J. King of Louisville, brother; Dewey Ed Aistrop III of Sellersburg, sisters; Virginia Yvonne Houchens of Scottsburg, and Sandra McClellan of Sellersburg.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of arrangements.

BOBBY G. HAMILTON, 78, died Friday, July 19, 2013.
He was born on January 16, 1935 in Adair County, Ky. to the late Carl and Mary (Shepherd) Hamilton. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Russell Hamilton.
He is survived by his son, Robert D. Hamilton; daughter, Tamara Hamilton Liddick; brothers, Jimmie (Virginia), Michael (Sandy), and Larry (Barbara) Hamilton; sisters, Gynith Timberlake, Shirlene Stepro, and Joyce Metrick (Brian); two grandchildren, Anne Liddick and Madison Hamilton.

JOYCE LUCILLE HOOKER WATHEN, 69 of Charlestown, died July 19, 2013 at her home.
She was born on April 20, 1944 in Clark County to Cecil and Ocie Beach Hooker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; John Wathen, sisters; Vivian Hammer and Carolyn Vest, brother; Ronald Hooker.
Survivors include her sister Iris Begley of North Vernon, seven nephews and six nieces.

MARIE ROSE, 76, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of of Scottsburg, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Terrace of Daytona Beach.
She was born on February 15, 1937 in Hazard, Ky. to the late Wick and Macy Bowling Helton. She was a former waitress and factory worker.
Survivors include two sons, James R. Piet and his wife Jana (Losey) Piet and Ralph John Piet, Jr. all of Daytona Beach; two sisters, Berniece Osborne of Phoenix, Ariz. and Sherry Rea of Holton, Ind.; four brothers, Seldon, Donald and Randy Helton all of Lexington, and Ernest Helton of Madison, and one grandson, Brian T. Losey and his wife Kim of Jacksonville, N.C. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Marcheta Spencer, Ora Piet, Lillie Dean, Curtis, James Edward and Kenneth Helton.

MARGARET A. KROUSGRILL, 86, Elizabeth, Ind., died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care- Indian Creek in Corydon.
She was born in Elizabeth on September 8, 1926 to Henry and Susanna Kraft Buse. She was a nurse, a homemaker, and a member of Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Elizabeth.
Survivors include her husband: Charles M. Krousgrill, Sr.; her son: Charles M. Krousgrill of West Lafayette; her daughters: Charlene K. (Gary) Doyle of Sierra Vista, Ariz. and Lois Krousgrill (Rabindra) Kitchener of Dayton, Oh.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers-Edgar, Earl and Paul Buse, and five sisters-Pauline Boldt, Bertha Blake, Evelyn Funk, Gladys Keith and Mildred Buse.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Lighthouse United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

DAVID W. CROSS, 50 died on Sunday,  July 21, 2013 at Our Hospice of S. Central Indiana in Columbus.
He was born on April 23, 1963, the son of the late Flemon R. Cross  and Anna M. (Gilham) Cross, who survives.
Survivors in addition to his mother include, six brothers, Melvin R., Robert L., James E., Danny J., Roger D. and Ronald E. Cross;  five sisters, Carol, Marilyn, Donna, Brenda Kay and Charlene.  Arrangements are pending at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg.
