Historic Beck’s Mill now open for 2013 season PDF Print E-mail

Historic Beck’s Mill near Salem is now open for the season, offering great opportunities for family outings: hiking trails, picnic areas, an open air dining room and tours of the restored grist mill.

The Becks were among the first settlers in Washington County. The first mill was constructed in 1808 and remained in the Beck family for seven generations. It is the only mill remaining out of about 30 that were in Washington County.
Beck’s Mill is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. through October 27th. The last tour each day is at 3:15 p.m.
Admission is $5 for age 17 and above. Children are admitted free with a paid adult admission.
Beck’s Mill is located six miles south of Salem on the Beck’s Mill Road.
