The Lady Pirate Softball team hosted the Lady Braves of Borden in a non-conference match up Wednesday night, April 17, "hitting" the ground running!

The Lady Pirates (5-2), ranked 10th in 3A, got 15 runs on 14 hits while committing no errors.

Senior Ali Webster pitched three innings, striking out six and walking no Borden batters; while going 2 -for-3 at the plate and stealing her fourth base of the season. Freshman Carly Price had another big game, hitting 3-for-3 and stealing a base. Senior sister Alyssa Price got two hits on three at bats, including four RBI's, a double and a triple. Freshman Lexi Logsdon and sophomore Kaitlynn Henning each contributed triples and another four RBI's combined.

Borden (0-2) committed four errors on the night and were unsuccessful at the plate.
