A survey of customers of the Scottsburg Department of Waterworks will be conducted in the next few weeks.
Participation in the survey by customers will be instrumental in helping the city to become eligible to apply for a new Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) that will provide funds to make improvements to its existing water lines and water treatment plant.
Representatives of University Research Consultants (URC) will contact customers in the target areas to conduct the survey. Residents will be contacted either by telephone or in person. All information provided will be handled in a confidential manner by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
Anyone having questions about the income survey is welcome to call the Scottsburg Mayor’s office at 752-3169 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
