Salem High School is going to be offering a Lion Locker to the students of Salem. This project was taken on by the Community Service Club who saw a need that this type of store could benefit the students of SHS. The Lion Locker will consist of a variety of donated clothes, shoes, and other products that the students of Salem could benefit from having. Once the Lion Locker is up and running students will be able to go into the room and get things that they need or that their immediate family could benefit from at no cost.
The Grand Opening of the Lion Locker will be on February 19th.
The hours of operation will be from 7:45-8:15 on Tuesdays, 3:15-3:45 on Wednesdays, and during Activity Period on Thursday. Salem’s goal for the Lion Locker is to share and exchange with other students. By next year, the Lion Locker is expected to expand and to be able to provide a Prom drive. The Prom drive would consist of donated dresses, shoes, and jewelry for the students to choose from to help out with their Prom purchases.
If you and your family have any items to generously donate, please drop them off at the front office of Salem High School. Your donation would be greatly appreciated by the staff, students, and families of Salem High School.
