Local law enforcement officers spent two days last week in Eastern High School and at West Washington taking part in active shooter training.

Sheriff Claude Combs said the training is as close as officers can come to real active shooter situations. Here an officer is down after being shot in one of the classrooms Saturday at Eastern High School.
